One of the benefits to relocating our wedding and portrait photography studio to Bolton MA is incredibly beautiful locations for outdoor portrait sessions, like this one in Lancaster, just minutes from our door.
I'm completely gaga for this sweet family of four, and was thrilled when mom contacted me to schedule a session, in celebration of their ten year anniversary. What a beautiful, lasting way to celebrate this incredible year and their beautiful family.
This year has been our busiest yet, with more families coming to see us for portraits that they can enjoy in their homes. I have so much more to share from this session, but here's one of my recent favorites, with this adorable little family.
A HUGE thank you to Bolton Spring Orchards for allowing us to use their beautiful property for our session!
We've had babies traveling from all over for newborn portraits since we've been at our new location in Bolton. We're just off Route 495, which makes it easy for families coming from the North Shore and South Shore, as well as Worcester, Boston and everywhere in between.
Our new studio is geared around providing an incredible newborn experience and beautiful natural light portraits for our clients. Equipped with heaters, props, bowls, baskets, hats, bows and wraps, plus a changing station with everything new parents need to keep baby comfy. We've been so busy with our client families that I haven't had a moment to share what we've been creating.

Lately I've been overwhelmed with gratitude for the life we live. A friend called it "Life by Design." I started my photography business to pursue my passion. I revel in the way a single picture can express so much love, so much happiness. And how it becomes an invaluable treasure.
But today I'm so completely grateful for the benefits it has brought to our family. That I get to work with my husband, my best friend, every day. I get to see him more than anyone else in the world and for that I'm so thankful. That I've been able to chaperone nearly all of Trevor's field trips. That this is a work day:
That I can bring my little Cooper to work with me, scouting a new location and we can make a fun day out of it. (Oceanview of Nahant, by the way - incredible. Check it out. The GM Matt is awesome...Cooper would agree as he left with pockets full of caramels.)
Living with intention. I scheduled time for the venue visit, playtime at the beach, first look/portrait plan development, and lunch in Salem. Business and fun together. All with my favorite three year old.
Its these moments that overwhelm me. As he looks at me, waiting for me to kick off my shoes and join him. I couldn't move fast enough. We hunted for shells and dipped our toes in the freezing water until we couldn't take it anymore and ran back to the warm sand.
We can't ever get these moments back.
I'm grateful that I'm skilled at taking pictures of these moments, and that I will print and hang them on my wall and include them in an album. Because I know these moments are so fleeting. Next year he probably won't hold my hand. A few years down the road he may not even want to come to the beach with mom.
But for today, I have this moment. And for tomorrow, I will have the pictures to remember.

Bria just turned one! We're starting to feel like this little love & her parents are a part of our family. We photographed her newborn portraits, her aunt & uncle's wedding, and now her one year birthday celebration portraits. Her and her sweet parents headed to our new studio in Bolton for her one year portraits and a cake smash. She was so dainty about it, I love it. Here are some of my favorites from our session together.
She's a great sharer...
These are some of my alltime favorite family in-studio portraits. The love and connection in these portraits is what I strive to capture at each and every session. So happy we created these together, to hang on their walls as a beautiful part of their family story.
Another newborn baby boy in our new studio in Bolton MA! While he is literally a brand new subject, his family - mom, dad and big brother - are repeat clients that we were thrilled to have back to celebrate the birth of their second baby boy. Little love bug.
I loved snuggling this one. Congrats S&R. I always love working with you to create wall-worthy celebrations of your life & love.
This beautiful family traveled from Medford MA for their newborn portrait session with me. Incredibly kind and caring, they first headed to the gorgeous fields around our studio in Central Mass for outdoor maternity portraits, which ended up being my favorite maternity session of all time. The light, the fields, the love of these two beautiful parents together as they awaited the arrival of their newborn baby boy, was nothing short of magical. You can see their maternity session here.
We waited patiently for their little man, who was not so little after all. Perfect skin, a full head of hair, and a perfectly sweet demeanor while awake or sleeping. He was my very first session at our newly-finished natural light newborn portrait photography studio in Bolton MA.
Snug as a bug, handsome little man. N&T, thank you so much for choosing me to create his first portraits. I've loved celebrating his new life with you.
